This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled on the ShopNova Voice AI Demonstration Website. Please be aware that this is a personal portfolio and educational demonstration project created by Bogdan Istrate, not a commercial enterprise.

2. Information We Collect

Website Usage: We do not actively track, profile, or monetize visitors on this static website. Standard server logs or analytics provided by our hosting provider (e.g., Vercel) may collect anonymous metadata such as IP addresses and browser types for security and availability monitoring.

Voice Interactions: When you call the provided AWS Connect demonstration phone number, you are interacting with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. During the call, we may collect:

• The phone number you are calling from (Caller ID).
• Voice audio streams (processed by Amazon Lex for intent recognition).
• Transcripts of the conversation generated by Contact Lens.

3. How We Use the Information

All data collected through the voice system is strictly used for the technical demonstration of the AWS Connect contact center architecture. The data helps route the call, trigger the appropriate AWS Lambda functions, and provide a realistic voice AI response.

We do not:

• Sell, rent, or share your phone number or call data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Use the data to identify you personally outside of the context of the demo call.

4. Data Storage and Security

The call data, including audio recordings and transcripts, are temporarily stored in AWS CloudWatch and S3 buckets belonging to the demonstration's AWS environment. These logs are routinely cleared and are only accessible by the project administrator (Bogdan Istrate) for debugging and portfolio documentation purposes.
